Rewiring: Making conscious efforts to change ingrained thought patterns, behaviors, and emotional responses. It often involves shifting from automatic reactions or limiting beliefs to more empowering, intentional ways of thinking and being. We can reframe limiting beliefs, for example, and replace negative or outdated thought patterns (e.g., “I’m not good enough”) with empowering ones (e.g., “I’m capable and worthy”). This concept draws from neuroscience, particularly the idea of neuroplasticity, which is the brain’s ability to form and reorganize synaptic connections, especially in response to learning or experience. When we reach a certain age, calcification can set in. We are called to challenge our assumptions about ourselves as we consider our soul's path, and the quality of the rest of our lives.
